One Plumbing and HVAC Company for Boise Homes

Say you have just closed on a bungalow in Hyde Park in the middle of October. The inspection report came back with a list: a furnace that has not been serviced in years, a water heater older than the inspector likes to see, and a bathroom drain that empties slowly. The first fall freeze in Boise lands around October 17 on average, so the furnace is the first worry, but you would rather not line up three different contractors for three different trades in your first month in the house.

Boise is the biggest city we serve and the one with the oldest housing. The Census Bureau put the population at 237,963 in 2024, the median home was built in 1987, and about 40 percent of houses predate 1980, with the North End, East End and Hyde Park historic districts going back to the 1890s and early 1900s. At the other end, Harris Ranch in Southeast Boise has added about 420 homes since 2000 with thousands more planned, so a Boise plumbing and HVAC company has to be as comfortable in a 1905 crawlspace as in a 2020 two-story.

Elevated Plumbing & HVAC is locally owned and operated by Dustin Sacolick, licensed and insured, and BBB accredited with an A+ rating. One crew handles plumbing, water heaters, sewer and water lines, furnaces and air conditioning. Every job starts with a free estimate in writing, and if another HVAC contractor has already quoted a replacement, the second opinion is free. Hours are 7am to 5pm, seven days a week.

SERVING BOISE AND THE TREASURE VALLEY

Boise jobs rarely look alike. In the older districts the work means crawlspaces, basements and plumbing that several owners have patched, while homes built since 2000 bring builder grade equipment reaching its first replacement all at once. Either way the City of Boise Building Division inspects a water heater, furnace or AC swap, so we pull the permit.

Veolia Water Idaho is Boise's drinking water utility, though some addresses are on private wells. Sewer service comes from City of Boise Public Works Water Renewal Services, and plumbing and mechanical permits from the City of Boise Planning and Development Services Building Division rather than the state. The climate asks a lot of equipment in both directions: about 108 nights a year at or below freezing and roughly 55 days at or above 90 F.

Many newer subdivisions also have a second, non-potable pressurized irrigation system for the yard. The City of Boise runs its own in 14 subdivisions and everyone else deals with an irrigation district. Where a sprinkler system connects to the drinking water supply instead, Idaho law requires an approved backflow assembly tested every year.
