One Local Company for Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in Eagle

Take a two-story home in Riverwalk, a few minutes from the Boise River, built in the mid-2000s like the median Eagle house. The original water heater in the garage is on its last legs, and the air conditioner that came with the house struggled through last July. The owners would rather call one licensed contractor who can diagnose both than juggle two companies, two estimates and two separate permit applications with the City of Eagle Building Department.

Eagle is not one utility map. The City of Eagle Water Department pumps groundwater to a few thousand households in subdivisions such as Lexington Hills, Legacy, Eaglefield, Brookwood, Eaglecrest, Lanewood, The Preserve, Riverwalk, Snoqualmie Falls, Vizcaya and Valnova, while Veolia serves the separately designated area it took over from the former Eagle Water Company on January 1, 2022. Some large lots in the A, A-R and R-E zoning districts still run on their own wells and septic systems.

Elevated Plumbing & HVAC is locally owned and operated by Dustin Sacolick and holds both an Idaho plumbing license and an Idaho HVAC license, so one crew can look at the water heater and the air conditioner on the same visit. Inspections and estimates are free, every estimate is in writing before work begins, and we are open 7 days a week from 7am to 5pm.

SERVING EAGLE AND THE TREASURE VALLEY

The first thing we ask in Eagle is who sends your water bill, because it changes the work. City of Eagle and Veolia customers get published water quality data and backflow rules; well owners get neither and often have a pressure tank to diagnose. The City of Eagle Building Department permits the water heater, furnace or AC either way.

Sewer is separate again. The Eagle Sewer District is an independent governmental entity rather than a city department, with a service area that generally matches the city's impact area. It partially treats wastewater at its own facility and pumps it on to Boise's West Boise Water Renewal Facility, about 2.25 million gallons a day.

The city has grown from 359 residents at incorporation in February 1971 to roughly 38,920 by its own 2025 estimate, and the housing shows it: the median home was built in 2007 and about 65 percent date from 2000 or later. Those homes are now reaching the age where water heaters, furnaces and air conditioners come due at the same time.
